Every cabinet service we offer

Our team provides commercial casework and multifamily packages, delivering tailored storage for homes and repeatable, schedule-driven installs for both residential and commercial projects. Before you commit to a path, our own installer measures the room, checks each box for water damage and sagging shelves, and draws up shop drawings for your approval.

From deciding whether an old face frame can take a fresh veneer to a full tear-out and rebuild, our team handles every detail. Serving Austin, Sunset Valley, Shady Hollow and Steiner Ranch, we point you to the service your house needs rather than the biggest invoice.

Replace, Reface or Paint: Choosing Your Cabinet Service

Most calls start with the same question: do I need new cabinets, or can I keep what I have? The answer lives inside the boxes, not on the doors.

When to paint or refinish

If the boxes are solid, the layout works and the doors are a style you still like, a new finish is the lightest change. It suits kitchens where the only complaint is color, dated stain or worn finish on otherwise sound wood.

When to reface

Refacing keeps the existing boxes in place, covers the face frames and exposed sides with new veneer, and swaps every door and drawer front. You get a different door style and finish without tearing out the countertop, the plumbing or the layout. It needs boxes that are square, dry and firmly attached.

When to replace doors only

Sometimes the frames and finish are fine and only the doors look tired or have warped. New doors and drawer fronts, with new hinges, change the whole look for the smallest disruption.

When to replace the cabinets

Replacement is the right call when boxes are swollen from a leak, shelves have sagged, the layout wastes space or you are moving walls and appliances. It is also the only route to a genuinely different kitchen plan, a larger island or taller wall runs.

Custom, Semi-Custom or Stock Cabinetry

Once you know new boxes are needed, the next choice is how they are made. Stock lines ship quickly in fixed widths. Semi-custom lines take longer and let you change some sizes and finishes. Fully custom cabinetry is built to your walls and ceiling, which removes filler strips and lets tall runs reach the ceiling cleanly.

Construction is a second axis. Face-frame boxes give a traditional look and pair naturally with inset or partial overlay doors. Frameless boxes hang doors on 35mm cup hinges straight off the sides and give slightly more room inside each opening. We build both and will tell you which one suits the house.

Matching the Service to the Age of the House

The year a house was built is often the best early clue to the right service. Kitchens in homes from the 1970s and 1980s, common in older west-side neighborhoods, were frequently built with oak face-frame boxes. Where those boxes are still dry and square, refacing or a new finish can carry them further. Where decades of sink leaks have softened the particleboard, replacement is the honest answer.

Production homes from the late 1990s and 2000s tend to have builder-grade boxes in standard widths. Those kitchens often work well with new doors and better hardware, or with a targeted upgrade such as a new island or a rebuilt pantry, rather than a full tear-out.

New custom homes are a different job again. There is nothing to reuse, so the conversation is about design: inset or overlay doors, species, finish and how far the storage extends into the pantry, bar, closets and office.

Our Residential Cabinet Services, Room by Room

Every service below has its own page. Use this list to find the one that matches your project.

  • Kitchen cabinets, for a full new kitchen designed around how you cook.
  • Kitchen island cabinets, when the island is the main job.
  • Inset cabinetry, for flush doors in traditional and older homes.
  • Cabinet installation and replacement, when you need boxes removed and new ones set.
  • Pantry cabinets and pull-out organizers, to fix a pantry nobody can find anything in.
  • Wet bar and butler's pantry cabinets, for the staging space between kitchen and dining room.
  • Bathroom vanity cabinets, sized to your bath rather than to a catalog.
  • Laundry room and mudroom cabinets, for storage near the washer and the back door.
  • Custom closets, walk-in or reach-in.
  • Built-in cabinets and bookcases, for living rooms, stair landings and dens.
  • Entertainment centers and media walls, built around the television and equipment.
  • Home office built-ins, with desks, file drawers and shelving.
  • Garage cabinets, to get tools and gear off the floor.
  • Cabinet refacing, cabinet door and drawer front replacement, and cabinet painting and refinishing, for rooms that need a new look rather than new boxes.

Commercial, Multifamily and Builder Cabinet Work

Commercial buyers need something different from a homeowner: a clear scope, shop drawings for the submittal package, a delivery schedule that fits the construction sequence, and a single point of contact who answers the phone.

  • Commercial cabinets and casework, for offices, clinics, retail and shared spaces.
  • Multifamily and apartment cabinet packages, where many units share a repeatable spec.
  • New construction builder packages, for homebuilders who need every room priced and delivered in phases.
  • Office breakroom and reception millwork, where the cabinetry is the first thing a visitor sees.

For each of these we review the plans, prepare shop drawings for architect or owner approval, and phase delivery floor by floor or unit by unit. Send the plan set and we will return a bid.

What Drives the Cost of Cabinet Services

Each service costs a different amount of work, so no single price applies across this list. These are the factors that decide where your project lands.

  • Which service you choose: a new finish touches the least material, refacing adds doors and veneer, and replacement adds new boxes, demolition and more install time.
  • Linear footage of the run, which sets the amount of material and labor.
  • Box construction, plywood or particleboard, on any job with new boxes.
  • Door style, from flat slab to detailed raised panel, and whether the doors are inset or overlay.
  • Species and finish, from paint-grade MDF to stain-grade hardwoods and glazed finishes.
  • Custom versus semi-custom sizing.
  • Hardware and accessories such as soft-close hinges, full-extension slides and pull-outs.
  • Demolition, countertop removal, and the condition of the walls and floor.

For commercial work, unit count, phasing and submittal requirements shape the bid. For any project, the first step is a free in-home or on-site measure, followed by a written quote.

How to Start: One Call, One Measure

You do not need to know which service you want before you call. Describe the room and what is wrong with it. We will ask a few questions and, if it makes sense, book a measure at your home.

At the measure we open the boxes, look for water damage and loose joints, and check whether walls and floors are level. You leave the visit knowing whether a finish, refacing, new doors or new cabinets is the right answer, and why. Drawings and a written quote follow, and nothing is built until you approve them.

The process

From First Measure to Final Hinge

Four steps, and nothing is built until you have signed off on the drawings and the price.

  1. Free design visit

We measure the room, talk through how you use it and look at door styles and finishes together.

  2. Drawings and a firm price

You get shop drawings and one written price. Nothing is built until you sign off on both.

  3. Built to your measurements

Boxes, doors and panels are made to the dimensions taken in your home, not to catalogue sizes.

  4. Installed and adjusted

The same crew installs, levels, scribes to your walls and adjusts every door and drawer before we leave.

Questions

Questions About Our Cabinet Services

How do I know if my cabinets can be refaced?

The boxes need to be solid, square, dry and firmly fixed to the wall. If a sink base has swollen from a leak or shelves are sagging, refacing only covers the problem. We check this during the measure.

Is painting cheaper than refacing?

Usually, because painting keeps your existing doors while refacing replaces them and adds veneer to the frames. The right choice depends on whether you like your current door style. We quote both when both make sense.

What drives the price of new cabinets?

Linear footage, box material, door style, wood species, finish, inset or overlay doors, hardware, demolition and site conditions. A free in-home measure turns those into a written number.

How long do cabinet services take?

A refinish or door swap is the quickest because nothing is built from scratch. New custom boxes are made to order after you approve drawings, so they take longer than stock. We give you a schedule when the drawings are signed.

Can you work with cabinets another company installed?

Yes. Refacing, new doors, painting and added pieces such as an island or pantry pull-outs can all be fitted to existing cabinets, provided the boxes are sound. We confirm that at the measure before recommending anything.

Do you handle commercial and builder projects?

Yes. We provide casework, multifamily packages, builder packages and office millwork, with shop drawings for your submittal and phased delivery. Send the plans and we will bid the job.

Which areas do you serve?

Austin and the west and southwest Travis County communities, including Rollingwood, West Lake Hills, Barton Creek, Lost Creek, Lakeway and Volente.

Do you offer a warranty on every service?

Every installation comes with a written warranty. We explain what it covers for your specific service before you sign.

Can I combine services in one project?

Yes, and many people do. A kitchen replacement often pairs with a pantry, a laundry room or a closet, and doing them together means one measure, one set of drawings and one install schedule.
